Press mud, a by-product of sugar production, is fermented using concentrated spent wash from the distillery plant. The decomposition process is enhanced with a microbial consortium of fungi, bacteria, and Actinomycetes. An innovative machine called the "Aero Tiller" agitates, aerates, and shreds the press mud, accelerating decomposition to just 13 weeks, resulting in a high-quality organic manure – GreenPlus.
Unlike conventional manures, GreenPlus is free from weed seeds, pests, and plant pathogens, making it a safe agricultural input. With a high organic matter content of up to 45%, GreenPlus also provides essential plant hormones that support vegetative and reproductive growth. It increases the soil’s water holding capacity, reducing water usage and maximizing the effects of fertilizers and other plant growth promoters.
