Rajshree Pathy

Rajshree Pathy is the Chairperson of Rajshree Sugars and Chemicals Limited. Realizing the immense potential of an agro-based industry to contribute to the rural economy, she created each of the sugar factories into an invaluable resource centres for the dissemination of scientific agronomic practices and introducing modern technology to improve agricultural yields through intense grass root interaction with the farming community.
She was the first woman President of the Indian Sugar Mills Association (ISMA), (2004-2005), and a powerful voice for the Sugar Industry, and has also served two 2-year terms as President of South Indian Sugar Mills Association (SISMA). She was the Charter President of Rotary Club of Coimbatore Texcity in the year 1990 with 50% of the members being women. She received the Business Today Award for “Most Powerful Women in Indian Business” in 2009, the TiE Award as “Woman Entrepreneur of the Year” in 2010, FICCI-FLO award for “Woman Entrepreneur of the Year” in 2005-2006. In addition, she has been nominated by Economic Times, Business Today and India Today as one of India’s most successful Entrepreneurs. She has been conferred as “Global Leader for Tomorrow" by the World Economic Forum, Davos in 1996. She was awarded the prestigious “Eisenhower Fellowship” in 2000. The Government of India conferred her with the prestigious civilian award “Padma Shri” in the field of Trade and Industry in 2013. She was awarded Honorary Degree of Doctor of Letters by Ajeenkya DY Patil University, India. Eisenhower recently honoured her with the "Distinguished Fellow Award" for the year 2022.
She is the founder of the India Design Forum (IDF) and the Director / CEO of IDF Singapore Pte Ltd, where she supports the Singapore Design and Cultural community and provides an international marketplace. Her deep understanding of Indian culture, traditional craft, contemporary art, design, and industrial processes gives her a unique perspective on the evolving importance of creativity in India’s growing economy. Additionally, she invests in Singapore start-up sectors such as beauty and wellness, healthy snacks, and superfoods.
As a patron of education, she established the Srivalli Varadaraj Matriculation Higher Secondary School, under the aegis of the GV Memorial Trust to provide quality education to the children of the farming community, in the most backward district of Andipatti, Tamil Nadu.
R. Varadarajan

He has been associated with Rajshree Sugars since its inception in 1987. With a Master’s Degree in Business Management and a Master’s Degree in English Literature, he has spearheaded the project team in Rajshree Sugars progressing from sugar to alcohol, from cogeneration of power to organic fertilizer and bio-products.
He has vast experience in coordinating and managing diverse activities to execute Greenfield projects, from strategic and financial planning to technical and commercial operations. He has played a key role in the acquisition of sugar factories and integrating management cultures and operations. Under his dynamic leadership Rajshree Sugars became the first integrated sugar complex in India to be certified an ISO 9001: 2000 company for all its products ranging from sugar, alcohol, power, organic manure and bio-products and the first sugar company in India to register a co-generation power plant under the Clean Development Mechanism with the UNFCCC and trade in Carbon Credits.
He has extensive global experience in conducting ground studies to assess economic and commercial potential of agro-businesses. He is an active member of industry associations both at the state and national levels.
He has had a brief stint as Head, Faculty of Management Studies of the PSG College of Arts & Science, Coimbatore where he had undertaken a special assignment in designing and implementing a three year undergraduate management programme to groom future Chief Executive Officers of Family Owned Businesses. He is active in various Industry Associations and Bodies holding leadership positions. With a keen interest in education, he is on the Governing Board, Academic Councils and Boards of Studies of several colleges and Management institutes.
Sheilendra Bhansali

Mr. Sheilendra Bhansali is a Chartered Accountant who graduated with a Commerce degree from PSG College of Arts and Science in 1985 and obtained his Chartered Accountant qualification in 1987. He is a partner at M/s Kumbhat & Co LLP., with offices in Chennai, Coimbatore, Bangalore, and Mumbai, where he manages Internal Audits, Management Consulting, and Financial Planning.
Additionally, He serves on the boards of various companies and is a Trustee for a couple of charitable trusts, focusing on education and medical relief.
K. Ilango

Mr.K.Ilango is the Managing Director of RSM Autokast Ltd., Coimbatore manufacturing Auto Components. He was recognized as an outstanding Alumni by PSG Charities in the year 2010. He graduated in Bachelor of Engineering from Government College of Technology in 1985.
He was the Chairman of CII Coimbatore Zone for the year 2014-15. He was also the Founder President of TiE, Coimbatore Chapter.
He was the President of CODISSIA (The Coimbatore District Small Industries Association) for the period 2008-10. He is a member of the Governing Council of CODISSIA Intec Technology Centre and Director of CODISSIA Industrial Park Ltd. He was the National President of Round Table India (2001-02) as well as the Chairman of the Asia Pacific Region of Round Table International (2002-03) and World Council of Service Clubs (WOCO). He is at present a Trustee and Chairman of the Round Table India Foundation.
Mr. Ilango was the Chairman of the Board of Governors of Government College of Technology, Coimbatore (2010 – 2016). He was the Secretary of the Tamil Nadu Electricity Consumers Association (TECA) and Past President of Coimbatore District Table Tennis Association.
S. Vasudevan

S. Vasudevan, a Chartered Accountant, has a career spanning over four decades in the property development and logistics sectors. His journey commenced with the Sanmar Group, where he played a pivotal role in launching their property development business. From 1993 to 2005, he held Senior Management positions at the A.C. Muthiah-SPIC Group, establishing MAC Property Development Limited and contributing significantly to Chennai’s first commerce park.
As the Managing Director of SICAL Logistics, Vasudevan oversaw the development of a Container Freight Station and a Coal handling facility at Ennore, showcasing his ability to spearhead large-scale infrastructure projects. In 2006, he assumed the role of Chief Executive (Southern Region) for the DLF Group, successfully launching their IT/ITES SEZ in Chennai. His expertise in property development culminated in directing the first integrated township project near Chennai in collaboration with the Embassy Group from 2007 to 2018.
Throughout his distinguished career, he has been a key figure in fundraising and debt restructuring, demonstrating both financial acumen and strategic leadership.
S. Krishnaswami

S. Krishnaswami holds multiple degrees, including Post Graduation in Economics and a Master’s in Business Administration. Throughout his extensive career, Krishnaswami has held key leadership roles, including Whole-time Director at SICAL (1994-1999), General Manager at Tubes and Malleables Ltd (1963-1994), and Director (Marketing) at Swastik Pipes Ltd, Delhi (Till 2003). His corporate journey also includes serving as Group President of Vijay Group of Companies, Bangalore (2003-2006) and as President of Unicorn Scaffolding (P) Ltd, Delhi (2008-2018).
Beyond his professional achievements, Krishnaswami has been deeply committed to service activities. He was the District Governor for Rotary International (1989-1990) and an active member of the Rotary Club of Madras.
