Good Agronomic Practices GAP

Rajshree Sugars promotes adoption of GAP (Good Agronomic Practices) like:

  • Trash Mulching
  • Green Manure
  • Intercropping and
  • Bio-compost application

to improve the yields of sugarcane and sugarcane production in the factory area by providing technical support, organizing demonstration and providing incentives

Sugarcane ratoon crop area of 3000 acres has been brought under Trash Mulching in both the units as an effective drought management measure and the technology has improved cane yields by 4 tonnes per acre
Sugarcane area of 2600 acres in both the units has been applied with Bio-compost (Greenplus) produced in-house and the farmers have recorded increased cane yield to the tune of 3.5 tonnes per acre.

Rajshree Sugars has pioneered development and production of a decomposing consortium culture “BIO-D” for decomposition of organic crop residues which is supplied to the farmers
